This policy explains what data CycleRest collects when you use our tools, how it is used, and what rights you have over it.

The short version

All sleep and caffeine calculations on CycleRest run entirely in your browser. We never see, store, or transmit the times or values you enter into any of our tools. The only data collected is standard web analytics and advertising data from Google, explained in detail below.

1. Browser-Based Calculations

Every calculation on CycleRest — including the Sleep Cycle Calculator, Sleep Debt Tracker, and Caffeine Half-Life Calculator — is performed locally on your device. The wake times, sleep hours, and caffeine amounts you enter are never sent to our servers, never logged, and never associated with you in any way. When you close the tab, that data is gone.

2. Information We Collect

CycleRest collects standard server log data that is automatically recorded when you visit any website. This includes:

  • IP address (used to determine approximate country or region for analytics)
  • Browser type and version
  • Operating system
  • Pages visited and time spent on each page
  • Referring website (how you arrived at CycleRest)
  • Date and time of visit

This data is collected in aggregate and is not linked to any personally identifiable information. We use it to understand how people use the site and to improve our tools.

3. Cookies

CycleRest uses cookies placed by Google for advertising and analytics purposes. We do not place our own tracking cookies. The cookies on this site come from:
