Time Awareness Tool
Life Clock
Every second of your life is counting. Most people never see it. This tool makes it visible — your days alive, your peak energy window, and a countdown on every goal that matters to you.
Rich people and successful people do not have more hours. They understand that each hour has a cost — and they spend accordingly. This is the tool that makes that real.
Your Biological Energy Window
Human energy is not evenly distributed across a lifetime. Testosterone, neuroplasticity, physical recovery, and cognitive sharpness all follow a biological arc that peaks in your 20s and declines progressively from there. Understanding where you are on this arc is not pessimism — it is intelligence. It tells you what your time is currently worth and how urgently you need to use it.
The people who build stable, successful lives are not more talented. They understood this arc earlier — and they invested their peak energy years into things that compound. The people who regret their 40s and 50s are almost always people who spent their 20s and 30s on things that did not.
Age 15 – 25
Peak Biological Power- →Testosterone at lifetime peak — highest drive, aggression, and physical capacity
- →Neuroplasticity at maximum — learning speed and skill acquisition fastest
- →Recovery from setbacks (physical and emotional) fastest of your life
- →Risk tolerance high — ideal window to start, experiment, and fail cheaply
Age 25 – 35
Peak Combined Power- →Prefrontal cortex fully developed at 25 — energy now combined with real judgment
- →Peak physical strength — muscle mass and endurance at lifetime high
- →Testosterone still strong, slight decline beginning around 30
- →Best window to execute on ideas started in the previous decade
Age 35 – 45
Compounding Returns- →Testosterone declining 1–2% per year — motivation requires more lifestyle support
- →Experience, network, and reputation compound — highest earning decade for most
- →Physical recovery slower — sleep and exercise more critical than ever
- →Decisions made here largely determine the financial trajectory of the rest of life
Age 45 – 55
Strategic Decade- →Significant hormonal shift — energy without lifestyle optimization drops noticeably
- →Wisdom and pattern recognition at peak — advantage shifts from energy to judgment
- →Health decisions made now have outsized impact on quality of life after 60
- →People who built systems in earlier decades begin to see them pay off
Age 55+
Harvest & Legacy- →Physical energy significantly lower without active hormonal and lifestyle support
- →Research shows highest life satisfaction scores — different energy, different peace
- →Legacy, relationships, and meaning become the dominant motivators
- →The foundation built in earlier decades determines options available here
The core insight: Between roughly age 15 and 40 you have the most biological fuel available to build things. After 40 it is not over — but everything costs more energy, recovery takes longer, and the hormonal support that made ambitious effort feel natural begins to require deliberate maintenance. The goal is not to panic about this. The goal is to see it clearly and act accordingly while the window is open.
Your peak energy window is driven by testosterone. Estimate your level and find what lifestyle factors are suppressing it.

Why This Tool Exists
Most people live as though time is unlimited. They postpone serious goals, drift through their peak years on low-value activities, and then arrive in their 40s and 50s wondering what happened. The regret is real, it is common, and almost all of it traces back to the same root cause: they never made their time visible. What you cannot see, you cannot protect.
Wealthy and successful people are not smarter. They understood earlier that time is the only resource that cannot be earned back. They tracked it, they assigned it deliberately, and they measured their goals against it. This tool does that for you — not to create anxiety, but to create clarity.
See your seconds. Know your window. Set your goals. The discomfort of watching time count is far smaller than the regret of having wasted it.
How Life Clock Works
Enter your date of birth
Your birth date is used to calculate days alive, life percentage used, and your position in the biological energy arc. Nothing is sent anywhere.
Watch your life in real time
A live counter shows your days, hours, and seconds alive — updating every second. Your life percentage bar shows what fraction of an average lifespan you have used.
See your peak window
A separate countdown shows days remaining in your biological peak energy window (age 15–40), with a progress bar showing how much of it is gone.
Set and track goals
Add goals with a title, description, category, start date, and deadline. Each goal shows a live countdown, progress bar, and percentage complete.
Complete or close each goal
When a goal deadline arrives, mark it complete or failed. Your history shows what you committed to and what actually happened.
Everything stays in your browser
All data is stored in localStorage — your device, your data, no server, no account. Clear your browser cache and it clears. This is by design.
Your data never leaves your device
Your date of birth, your goals, and every title and description you write are stored entirely in your browser's localStorage. Nothing is sent to any server. CycleRest has no account system and no data collection on this tool. If you clear your browser data, your Life Clock data clears with it — so treat it like a private notebook that lives on your device.
